FDS Review Studio helps WooCommerce store owners add product feedback quickly through a clean, simple workflow. This guide explains how to install, activate, update, and use the plugin correctly.

Before You Start

• A working WordPress website with WooCommerce installed.
• The latest FDS Review Studio ZIP file.
• A valid FDS Review Studio license key with available review credits.

1. Install or Update FDS Review Studio

1. Open WordPress Dashboard → Plugins → Add New Plugin → Upload Plugin.
2. Select the FDS Review Studio ZIP file and click Install Now.
3. For a new installation, click Activate Plugin.
4. For an update, WordPress will show Replace current with uploaded. Click it to update the existing plugin safely. You do not need to delete or deactivate the old version first.

Important: Always upload the official ZIP package. Your license settings remain saved during a normal plugin update.

2. Activate Your License

1. Open WooCommerce → FDS Review Studio.
2. Paste the license key received by email or shown in your FDS Digital Store account.
3. Click Activate License.

Each license works on one website. Credits are verified securely by the FDS license server.

3. Select Products

Use the product search box and select one or more WooCommerce products. Only products displayed under Selected Products will receive reviews.

4. Enter Reviewer Names and Reviews

Enter one reviewer name per line. Then enter one review per line in the same order.

The first name is paired with the first review, the second name with the second review, and so on. If the number of names and reviews does not match, the plugin stops the submission so no incorrect review is created and no credit is charged.

5. Credits and Multiple Products

One published review uses one credit. Required credits are calculated as:

Selected products × valid name/review pairs

Example: 20 names and 20 reviews added to one product create 20 reviews and use 20 credits. The same 20 pairs added to two products create 40 reviews and use 40 credits.

6. Choose a Rating and Publish

1. Select the star rating.
2. Review the names, feedback, selected products, and required credits.
3. Click Add Review.
4. Open the product page and confirm that every review appears separately.

How to Update the Customer Download File

In WooCommerce, edit the product or variation and update the existing downloadable file row. Replace its file URL while keeping the same download entry. Customers with valid download permission can then download the updated ZIP from My Account → Downloads.

Do not delete the old download row and create a completely new one if existing customers must retain access, because a new row can receive a new download ID. A file already saved on a customer’s computer does not update automatically; the customer must download the latest ZIP again.

Troubleshooting

• A new plugin copy appears: confirm the ZIP contains the root folder fds-review-studio, not a version-number folder.
• Names appear in one review: enter every name and every review on its own line and use the latest plugin version.
• License does not activate: verify the key, website domain, internet connection, and that the key is not already linked to another website.
• Not enough credits: purchase and activate a new 1,000-credit key.
